Lantern
CAIRN Lantern – CAIRN Lantern is made of handcrafted bamboo frames and mulberry paper in the shape of stacked stone which represent a peaceful soul. Cairn or Stacked Stone is also used as a form of prayer in different cultures. Cairn in Japanese culture was meant to pay respect to deceased souls. It was found along mountain trails and roadways and developed into a form of little monk. Some are located on conspicuous positions, often on the skyline above the village of the deceased. The well-known Inuksuk used by the Inuit. Stupas in India and Tibet probably started out in a similar fashion, although they now generally contain the ashes of a Buddhist saint or lama.
