The Hidden World Beneath the Forest Canopy
A sculptural exploration of light, form, and concealment in nature, inspired by Thai woodcarving traditions associated with the The SUPPORT Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
Hand-carved wooden forms evoke dense foliage and forest structures, while laser-cut stainless steel elements interact with light. As illumination passes through the sculpture, shifting shadows recreate the sensation of sunlight filtering through layers of leaves, revealing glimpses of the hidden life that inhabits the forest floor.
Beneath the forest canopy lies a quiet ecosystem where numerous species coexist within the shelter of shade and water. Hidden Canopy transforms this unseen landscape into a sculptural experience—inviting viewers to slow down and rediscover the subtle beauty of nature that often remains concealed from view.
