SAI CAVE

Tray

Reinterpreting the Thai “Khao Mo” miniature landscape tradition through the coastal mountains of Sai Cave in Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Inspired by the rocky shoreline and layered topography of Sai Cave, the ceramic forms evoke small islands rising from the sea. Cobalt on stoneware suggests water and mineral layers, while Kintsugi highlights cracks as part of the narrative of time and erosion.

“Khao Mo” is a Thai garden art form that recreates symbolic mountains in miniature scale. SAI CAVE transforms a distant coastal landscape into a tabletop terrain — allowing nature, memory, and spiritual geography to inhabit domestic space.
