Flower Vase Set
KHING: Ephemeral Beauty of Wild Blossoms A branching brass vase set reflecting the fleeting beauty of roadside flowers while reinterpreting the Thai tradition of ceremonial money trees (Bungamas) into an environmental dialogue.
Each vase is cast in brass, shaped as organic tree branches rising upward like grassland vegetation. The concept extends from the tradition of “Bungamas,” ceremonial money trees offered to temples as symbols of merit and prosperity.
Wildflowers bloom briefly along roadsides—beautiful yet fragile, mirroring the impermanence of nature. KHING translates this transient beauty into a lasting sculptural form, encouraging reflection on environmental preservation while connecting historical ritual practices with contemporary decorative living.
